MobileHomeComing Tour
November 12, 2010

Alexis and Julia have been living in an environmentally sustainable mobile home and traveling across the country to interview black women, trans men, and gender queer visionaries. Share your story with them in November as they collaborate with Mixit Tallahassee and record their encounters using video and audio in order to create a documentary.

Julia Wallace of Queer Renaissance and Alexis Pauline Gumbs of BrokenBeautiful Press have decided to dedicate the next phase of their lives to collecting and amplifying the herstories of black women, trans men, and gender queer visionaries who refuse to accept the limits imposed on their love, by believing despite everything that love and transformation were possible. This project is about affirming and producing family on the queer terms of choice. If you'd like to participate, contact info@mixittallahassee for more details.
